If your windshield needs to be recalibrated, we are happy to direct you on how to get it done. Just ask. We are not responsible for recalibration in cases where it might be needed but can help you get it done. What is recalibration? Many windshields on modern cars are more advanced than you might think. They can have various types of technology embedded in them, such as advanced driver assistance systems. These may require various machinery that wouldn’t be practical to bring along for a mobile windshield replacement service. But we won’t leave you hanging! We have trusted providers throughout the Austin area that we’re happy to point you to. Our go-to provider is a mobile service that can calibrate windshields on most vehicles. All that said, 90% of the time it’s not needed. Many manufacturers will recommend it every time, but this is mostly to earn the dealerships extra income. Again, we can help you figure this out, even if we need to connect with our preferred partner.

We always try to answer immediately. If you reach out during a job, we will respect that job and wait to get back to you until it’s over. No! After your repair is complete, you are free to drive and expose your car to the elements without fear of leaks. On the very low chance of an issue, we’ll not only fix it for free, we’ll get out to you with extreme haste to fix the issue, rain or shine.

Sometimes, we only recommend OEM glass (made by your car’s manufacturer instead of an aftermarket provider) when we think it’s valuable and necessary to maintain the aesthetic and quality of the vehicle. OEM glass is more expensive, especially for niche manufacturers like VW and Lexus. Whereas other providers may offer you the lowest price just to get your business, such companies will generally fail to let you know (if they even know themselves) that there may be quality issues. You’ll never have that experience with us.
